	Gun Repair Concentrating on British and European sporting guns, H.G. Lomas Gunmakers, Inc., offers full service, in-house gun repair and overhaul of shotguns and rifles. Our shop is equipped to repair or fabricate replacement parts as needed. Repair services range from the relatively simple replacement of a broken vee spring, replace strikers or raising dents in barrels, to the more involved issues such as the repair of damaged barrels by the sleeving process. Stock repairs and the making of replacement parts can all be undertaken. The following illustrates the scope of repair services we offer. Although extensive, it does not include every gun repair or overhaul service we offer. Available repair options are only limited by the economic practicality of certain types of repair, versus the value of the gun in question. Gun repair and overhauls are our craft. Gun Overhauls Should your gun have seen significant wear due to heavy use and performance is falling off in a number of the guns systems then it may be necessary to consider a full overhaul. Overhauls include complete teardown, inspection and repair or replacement of all parts as necessary. Due to the expenses that can be involved a full overhaul may not always be a viable option for all grades of guns. We suggest calling for a consultation first. Repairs and Overhauls are generally limited to break-action shotguns and bolt-action rifles. Lead times before repair work can commence generally run between 2 to 4 months. The amount of time required for the repair varies depending on the nature of the work. Shipping Info Guns shipped in for repair should be accompanied by a note explaining the defect and what work you would like done. On the note, please include your name, address and telephone number together with your estimate of the shipping insurance value you would like put on the gun.
