ALEXANDER HENRY
A 16 Bore boxlock non ejector made by the noted Scottish maker Alexander Henry of Edinburgh. S.N. 3067. The Original Proof Marks and rib address " Alexander Henry & Co, 22 Frederick St, Edinburgh" indicate the gun was made between 1911 and 1925. This gun was subsequently re-proofed in Birmingham in 1962 and remains in proof.

Anson and Deeley Boxlock non ejector with treble grip action, double triggers, auto safety , Approx 70% Engraved Coverage with @ 50% original hardening coloring evident.
Barrels
28" x 2&1/2" Chambers. Choked Right CYL. Left .015" Proofed for 1 oz loads. Minimum Wall Thicknesses found R .028" L.029" Bores are Good, Ribs Tight.

W. H. MONK
A 20 bore Boxlock Non-Ejector by W.H. Monk of Chester. The Birmingham Proof marks put this gun as being made in the 1904-1925 period.
Action
Anson & Deeley non ejector with borders line engraved and makers name as W. H. Monk. Original Case coloring has given way to a dark patina, Double triggers and auto safety. All screw heads are in excellent shape and indicate a gun that has only been professionally serviced.
Barrels
20 x 2&1/2" chambers, 28" long. Recently rejointed, blacking good, game rib. In nitro proof with chokes of R.006" and L.028" reflecting 1/4 and full. Thinnest wall thickness 6" back from muzzle R .024" L. .026".
Stock.
Sound, relatively plain English Walnut,Checkering is sharp, minor staining near action.Very minor chip at toe. 14&1/8th LOP over a grooved butt. D@C 1&1/2" D@H 2&1/4"

CHARLES LANCASTER
8-03 Charles Lancaster 16 Bore Shot and Regulated, Cased with Accessories. A 16-bore Anson & Deeley style Boxlock non-ejector built within the Birmingham trade and per the rib " Shot and Regulated by Charles Lancaster Co. , Case Label indicates 11 Panton St Adress which dates the gun to the 1904-1909 period. Gun has been stripped and overhauled in house, Case has replacement straps and would benefit from re-inforcement at the corners. Accessories include pair Lancaster Snap caps and replacement Rosewood cleaning rods, brush, mop and pull through.

E. GALE BARNSTAPLE
A typical Birmingham built gun probably
retailed by the above company in North Devon in the SW of England.
This is a 1906-1925 era gun based on an A&D non-ejector
action and weighs 6# 11.6oz. Completely stripped and overhauled.
All woodwork refreshed, barrels have been rejointed, reblacked and
action etc re case coloured.

top tang safety with auto reset. No engraving on action.

12 bore, 2&1/2" Chambers, 30" barrels choked
R. 004" L.025" with a game rib engraved "E Gale,
Barnstaple." Within original 1906-1925 Proof Dimensions Barrel wall thickness
is .046" both at 9" from Breech ( Proof point) Lowest
Thickness found R .035" L.030" Bores are good and
free from pitting.

W.J. JEFFERY & CO.
This is a typical walked up game gun built by W J Jeffery & Company in the period 1905-1918 at their 13 King Street London address. A 6# 8oz A&D actioned non-ejector. Gun has been completey stripped and overhauled. All woodwork refreshed, barrels re-jointed, re-blacked and action re case-coloured.

Barrels
12 bore, opened to 2&3/4" chambers, backbored to .736", outside original proof but with wall thickness of R.050" &L.047" at 9" from breech, thinnest area found .026"R & .027"L Choked for 1/2 (Mod) and Full Choke at .018" and .040" these can be opened for more useful performance with currently available CIP ammunition.
Stock
Stock has an open semi-pistol grip with snap on fore-end. Unmarked Silver oval in stock. Length of pull 14&7/16th over a Grooved Butt. Neutral Cast with bend of 1&9/16th comb, 2&1/8th Heel. Stock appears a suitable candidate for bending.
